About the Park

Offering over 1 km of sandy beaches, Kokanee Creek Paddle Sport rentals, hikes with a Park Naturalist, Kokanee Salmon spawning channel with viewing platforms and a Nature Center running Jerry Rangers through July & August and Nelson nearby. Epic mountain biking, Kokanee Marina, Kokanee Mountain Zipline, Balfour Golf Course and Ainsworth Hotsprings all within 30 mins of the Park.

Frontcountry camping – $32/party/night
Group camping base fee – $120/group site/night
Sani-station – $5/discharge

Facilities

3 campgrounds; Sandspit (113 sites) Redfish (19 sites) and Friends Campground (39 sites including 13 with electrical hook ups), boat launch, 2 group camping sites, flush toilets, shower buildings, and sani-station.

Friends Campground: Open April 24 – October 5.
Redfish Campground: Open June 5 – September 14.
Sandspit Campground and groups sites: Open May 1 – September 28.
Osprey Campground June 15 – September 8. (used as group site in shoulder season).
