About the Park

Day use park that protects the sensitive habitat of several plants and animals while providing visitors with some views of Kootenay River, Narrows Island and Grohman Narrows. The area provides for nature appreciation with low impact walking trails that meander along the meadow and marshland area then continue to wind through the forest. The area is very active with school groups in the spring and dog walkers year round. There is an abundance of Saskatoon berries in mid to end of July all through the trail system.
Open May 13 – September 28.
