About the Park
This park features a year-round boat launch, as well as 2 km interpretive walk through old-growth forest. Exchamsiks River Park contains a rare Sitka spruce-salmon berry red listed plant community. The giant Sitka Spruce trees play an important role in this ecosystem. Hydrology, aspect, soil, plant composition, age, and topography have all combined over a long time to make this forest unique.
