About the Park
This family friendly park is accessible only by foot passenger ferry or boat. With breathtaking views of the Coastal Mountains and the Harbour City, the island offers a unique natural, historical and cultural experience for visitors. There is an extensive network of walking and hiking trails that lead to various historic points around the island. Park services and facilities include walk-in campsites complete with flush toilets and showers, as well as facilities for group camping and picnicking.

Overnight use of dock facilities – $2/metre
Overnight use of mooring buoy – $14/vessel
Frontcountry camping – $18/party/night
Group camping base fee-sites 1,2 &3 – $80/group site/night

Winter frontcountry camping – $11/party/day
Facilities
18 walk-in campsites, 5 large group campsites, flush and pit toilets, hot showers, fresh water, food concession and food lockers. Large day-use area with playground, swimming beach, picnic tables, horseshoe pits and a large grassy area.
Location
Accessible by boat only. From Nanaimo, take foot passenger ferry from Maffeo-Sutton Park behind the Civic Arena. Public wharf also available for a fee.
