About the Park
This popular day use area in the community of Tlell between Skidegate and Masset is the trailhead for the 12 km return hike along the Tlell River to the Pesuta, a log barge carrier that ran aground in 1928. The bow remnant of the ship is still visible on the beach. This trail is also the start of the East Beach Hike, a multi-day trek along East Beach to Cape Fife & Rose Spit. Detailed planning for this remote wilderness hike is essential.
